Bath Time!

So I had this thing called a "bath" the other day.  I'm still not sure what the big deal was, all they did was put me in this big blue tub thing and take lots of pictures of me naked... but it made everyone smile and have a good time so I obliged!

Dad made a video for everyone to check out... I kept a smile on my face for most of this little adventure, and I'm looking forward to the next one since it makes everyone so happy..... and since I smell so good after!! :-)

What a week!

Whew!

What a busy few day's I've had out of the womb!!! This is a very loud and exciting world I came out into! Things are going great at home, Mom and Dad are taking great care of me and I've had lots and lots of visitors to welcome me home. The Grandparents have all hung out with me a lot over the last week or so and I really enjoy their "experienced" touch. :-)

Mom and Dad keep talking about this "Schedule" they need to get me on, and I think they are just about there. I seem to be eating about every 2-3 hours and trying to sleep in between... I actually slept for 4.5 hours the other day and Mom and Dad were VERY excited.. no idea why, I think I'm much cuter when I'm awake!

I've seen lots of flashes lately, hopefully I'm not blind by the time I'm one from all this photography. But I must admit, I am very photogenic ;-) Dad's been posting pictures and videos up on Facebook for me, so if you can, try and follow me on Facebook since that will be more up to date than the blog. I'm just such a busy girl these days, I can't seem to find the time to blog as much anymore!

I'm Here!

Hi Everyone,

Well, after a busy 12 hours of labor and delivery, I made it into this world at 22:22 on 2/3/2010 weighing 7 pounds and 1 ounce. Mom and Dad had a very busy day but in the end I was really worth it.... I over heard them saying that ;-)

So we are sitting around the hospital waiting for me to get outta here. I've passed all my tests with flying colors and Mom is really up and at'em after such a big surgery to get me here. Dad has been really great taking care of me while Mom was resting, and I haven't peed on him once!! :-)

We've had some fun visitors and we really had a great time with this photographer lady that stopped by. Her flash was kinda bright, but boy did she give me some great digital pictures for the blog! I even have them on my own pink flash drive... to match my Pink iPod Nano! Dad says I'm already "too cool for school"... whatever that means.

Grandma's have been here to have fun with me already and I have such a loving bunch of family... I can't complain too much so far... but I will tell you this, the Wireless Signal is MUCH better out here!! :-)

Hi everyone,

Well, here we wait for our little girl to arrive. We are officially 1 day past our due date, but we're just hangin out and relaxing waiting for her to make an entrance into the world :-) We are scheduled for an induction on Wednesday, Feb 3rd if Baby M hasn't decided to show up yet. So we don't have much longer!

We thought you might like to check out the nursery since we've got everything setup... there are a few things to hang on the wall, but we're waiting until we hang her name then we'll hang those other personalized items :-)

18 Days To Go!!!

Time has been FLYING by these last few months.... I am due to arrive in the world in just a few weeks and preparations for my arrival continue around the clock here at Boddiford.com :-)

Dad is finishing up the dresser/changing table in the garage and Mom is working on getting the nursery organized and "pretty".... so lots going on as usual.

We are officially at thirty seven weeks into the pregnancy... It's getting VERY cramped in here and I love to stretch out so I am kicking up a storm in momma's belly everyday! Mom is still going to work everyday, but has put in her notice that she will be on maternity leave as of January 25th if all goes to plan... so hopefully everything stays on track. I don't like getting up that early to go to work either... so mom and I can rest more!

We have weekly Dr.'s visits from now until the big day.... just to make sure all is on track so no worries. I hear mom and dad talking about how the nursery is almost complete so keep your eyes on your inbox for more updates!

58 Days To Go

Hey Everybody,

I haven't blogged lately because I've been busy GROWING!!! It's getting really cramped in here and getting on Google isn't as easy as it used to be! Mom and Dad took me to the Dr's office last week and everything is prefectly normal... I weighed in at three and a half pounds but Mom swears I weigh more than that :-)


The other exciting thing was getting to hang out with my grandma's while while we were at the Dr's office. We did another one of those things where they look in Mom's tummy to see what's going on. I don't see why everyone was so excited, but there were a whole bunch of "ooohs" and "awwwwwws" the entire time. Dad says I should get used to it, it's going to be like that for a while...


Mom and Dad keep saying that we are so lucky to have such great friends and family... I haven't met many of them yet, but I have to agree! Everyday we are surprised and touched by all the love and wonderful gifts that are showered on us. I've got some SWEET toys and hand made clothes according to Mom & Dad. I hope Dad doesn't break any of my toys before I can get out of here... he keeps playing with all my toys and is surely draining the batteries!

Dad has made a lot of progress on my crib. Grandpa also helped out and it sounds like it's just about done. Everyone that was over for Thanksgiving really liked it.... so I'm thinking it's going to be great. Mom keeps telling him he needs to hurry up and get started on my dresser/changing table... that sounds important so I hope Dad gets on that soon!

94 Days To Go

Hi Everyone,

It's been a busy 4 weeks since I posted the last blog! Mom and Dad are really starting to get things in gear around the house for my big arrival. I had a great time hanging out with Mom and both of my Grandma's last weekend. We all took a trip to Home Depot to pick out paint colors and then over to JoAnne's to get coordinating fabric for things in the room and finished it off with a yummy lunch at Olive Garden.


Dad stayed at home and prepared the room for some test painting so everyone could make up their mind... it didn't take long for dad to get the paint on the wall and a choice was made! I'm going to have a beautiful purple room with something called a chair rail in the middle... dunno what that is but it sounds cool. The top of the room will be "Butterfly Flutter" and the bottom will be "One Enchanted Evening" Daddy kept saying we are putting too much money "into The Mouse's Pocket" as the paint was Disney brand.... I have no idea what that means but everyone got a laugh. :-)

I heard the Dr. say that everything is right on schedule so far... everyone is healthy and happy so that's a good thing. Dad still gives me kisses and feels me moving around in here at night... 94 days to go, can't wait to get out and see everyone in person!
