23 Weeks - Over half way there!!

Hello Friends,

Dad says I have quite the following on-line! According to him, these updates are very popular with you guys... I do get a great WiFi signal in here, so I guess I'll keep blogging away! :-) Mom and Dad are getting more excited by the day.... I hear them discussing decorations for my room... bedding choices and colors for wall paint... sheesh!

So things are moving along in my room... I hear furniture moving around and baby room conversations all the time. Painting should be happening as soon as my Grandmothers come over to confer on the colors with Mom and Dad. As long as I have a nice soft bed and some air conditioning, I think I'll be just fine!

It's getting cramped in here and I need to stretch every now and then. The other night I decided to get some exercise and started to kick a little... Mom was quick to tell Daddy to "check this out" and I could hear how excited Dad got when he felt me kick a few times! I think I have him wrapped around my little finger already!

So that's it... getting close to bed time in here... Catch up with everyone later!!

It's A Girl!

So after all these weeks... today was the big day. I've heard mom and dad talking about it for a while now... so we made it into the Dr's office and here comes that cold gel stuff! Mom and Dad were very happy the Sonographer was very thorough and didn't tell them until she was sure! I dunno what the big deal is... I've been a girl since day one... but nobody ever asked me! :-)

They got back to the car and started calling and texting everyone... whatever Texting is... I keep hearing that word... sounds like something cool! Everyone was very excited... Grandparents and Great Grandparents... all were very happy to hear that I was a healthy and active little girl in mom's belly.

I can't wait to check out the furniture Dad's designing for me... and to see the color scheme and decorations that Mom is working on ... I'm such a lucky girl already! :-)

19 Weeks - Still growin!

Hey everyone,

Crazy that we're 19 weeks into this little marathon.... Not too much exciting stuff going on in here... just the usual eating and growing! Mom and Dad are always talking about me... I can really hear them talking when Dad puts his ear on Mom's belly ... I think he's trying to hear my heart beat... no luck yet!

Mom and Dad are taking the last "baby free" trip to New York City next week... this will be my first plane trip so I'm pretty excited. We have some fun stuff planned like going to a Rays vs. Yankees game at the new Yankees Stadium in the Bronx. We're going to go for a walk in Central Park, take a boat tour, and check out some fun museums... even a Broadway show! I hear mom and dad planning stuff all the time... it's gonna be great.

We get back on Thursday and then the big day is Friday.... that's when we go back to the Dr's office and find out if I'm a Boy or a Girl! Dad keeps saying he's ready to build some furniture but he's been holding off since a Boy will get "manly" furniture as he calls it... and a Girl will get "pretty" furniture. He's a funny guy...
